FOR THE TWO OF YOU

Love grows in
small moments.

Mendly gives you one small question a day, a nudge that lands on your partner’s wrist, and a gentler way back to each other after a fight.

  • iPhone & Apple Watch
  • One subscription, both partners
  • Private by design

WHY SMALL THINGS WORK

80years

The strongest predictor of a happy life isn’t money or success — it’s the quality of your relationships.
Harvard Study of Adult Development · 724 people

7minutes

Doing something small and new together makes couples measurably happier. Seven minutes a day was enough.
Aron et al., 2000

+1day

Even a small “thank you” leaves both partners feeling closer the following day.
Algoe et al., 2010

EVERY DAY

Rediscover each
other, daily.

Mendly asks the two of you one question a day. Before you see what your partner wrote, you guess it — then both answers unlock at once. It turns a notification into a two-minute conversation you actually want to have.

  • 135+ questions, tuned to how long you’ve been together
  • Guess first, unlock together — no peeking
  • Every thread is saved, so you can read your first answers a year later
Guess their answer before it unlocks: the question “Where do I most like to be kissed?” with their answer blurred until you pick.

IN BETWEEN

One touch,
three places.

Say “thinking of you” without typing anything. Pick a nudge and it lands on their home screen widget and taps them on the wrist — each kind with its own haptic signature.

The nudge list: i want you, i miss you, wish you were here, you're on my mind.
Sending a spark from the iPhone and it arriving on the partner's Apple Watch as “Ada is thinking of you”.
Notification reading “Ada nudged you — i miss you”.
  • Pick from typed nudges — each with its own feel
  • Send the photo you’re in right now
  • It reaches them without either of you opening a chat

WHEN IT’S HARD

Mendly takes
the first step.

After a fight, the hardest thing in the world is being the one to reach out. So Mendly holds that moment for you. When you’re ready, you break the wall — quietly, with no message sent. If your partner is ready too, you both find out at the same time. Neither of you had to go first.

  • Wall or bridge — choose the ritual that fits you
  • You never learn whether they saw it and waited. That ambiguity is on purpose
  • Don’t know how to start talking? Mendly writes the first sentence for you
Each partner writes their side, then Mendly suggests an opener: “I miss talking to you. Can we start with the weekend?”

THE QUESTIONS

135 questions.
Pull one.

Mendly hands you one a day, but the decks are always open. Pick a deck below and draw a card — these are real questions from the app, word for word.

1 / 4

Mendly is an 18+ app. The bolder decks — fantasy, boundaries, the things you only ask each other — stay behind a deliberate tap inside the app, never on a notification.

APPLE WATCH

The whole app,
on your wrist.

The phone is where you talk. The Watch is where you feel it. Mendly carries only what matters in three seconds — the question, the nudge, the ritual. Every screen here is the real thing, nothing mocked up.

Today's question with an answer link and a send-a-nudge button.

Today’s question

Raise your wrist and it’s waiting. Answer it there.

The nudge list: i want you, i miss you, wish you were here, you're on my mind.

Four words, one tap

No typing. Pick the one that’s true right now.

Notification reading “Ada nudged you — i miss you”.

You feel who it is

Every kind of nudge has its own haptic signature.

A live photo from Lily filling the screen with drifting hearts.

Their moment, live

A photo of where they are, right on the watch face.

A chat thread with both answers and a reply field.

Reply from the wrist

The whole thread, and a field to answer in.

A brick wall with the words “you're here to grow close again” and a tap to grow closer button.

The wall between you

Tap it when you’re ready. Every tap breaks a little more.

Confetti with the words “you took the first step”.

Reaching out is strength

Going first is treated as the brave thing, never as losing.

Two partner photos glowing side by side: “you're both ready to talk”.

You meet in the middle

When you’re both ready, you find out at the same moment.

HOW IT WORKS

Set up once, in a minute.

  1. 1

    Pair with a code

One of you makes a six-character code, the other types it in. No email, no account, no friend list.

  2. 2

    Answer today’s question

Two minutes in the evening. Guess theirs first, then both answers open together.

  3. 3

    Reach out when it’s hard

And on the days it goes wrong, the wall is there — so neither of you has to be the one who caves.

WIDGETS

Even with the app closed.

The photo of the day sits on their home screen and their watch face. They see you before they see anything else.

The bridge and wall rituals side by side: “you reached them” and “the wall came down”.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

No feed. No audience.

Wall or bridge, whichever fits you — and nobody watching either one. Two people, one code, nothing public.

AND THERE’S MORE

Everything else you
get for the two of you.

Couple cards

Answer questions, make up, nudge — and mythological cards unlock. Rare, foil, legendary. Yours to compare and share.

Photo memories

A themed photo of the day plus every snapshot you’ve sent, collected in one gallery that fills itself.

Repair diary

Every time you find your way back, it’s written down. How long it took, and how it got easier.

Gentle rituals

A few evenings a week, a small prompt: say thank you, hold on a second longer, tell them one thing.

Your “us” page

Days together, questions answered, fastest reunion, and how well you actually know each other.

Only the two of you

One code pairs you. No feed, no followers, no strangers. Your answers stay between two people.

QUESTIONS

Before you download.

Do we both need an Apple Watch?

No. Mendly works fully on iPhone. The Watch app is a bonus — if one of you has one, that person gets the ritual and nudges on the wrist; nothing breaks for the other.

How do we pair?

One of you creates a code, the other enters it. That’s the whole setup. No accounts to make, no social profile, no friend list.

Is it two subscriptions?

No. One subscription covers both of you — when one partner goes premium, the other one does too. There’s also a one-time lifetime option.

Will my partner know I opened the app after a fight?

Only if you both signal that you’re ready. If you reach out and they haven’t yet, they see nothing about waiting and you learn nothing about their silence. The ambiguity protects you both.

Who can read our answers?

Your partner. Answers and photos are shared only inside your pair. See the privacy policy for the full detail on what’s stored and how to delete it.

Start with one
small question.

Tonight, ask them something you’ve never asked before.
